Rev. Harold Akyeampong fka DJ Jimmy Lee

Rev. Harold Akyeampong FKA DJ Jimmy Lee is a US based Ghanaian Pastor, African Studies Specialist, Folklore Master, Ethnomusicologist, Historian with recreational focus on Ghana's Mobile Disco. He is an archivist of early mobile disco activities aka spinning and director of the International Center of African Culture and Arts. A Mankessim native whose exploits in mobile spinning started with Kumasi based Hi-Tension Sounds under Dr. Beat aka Kwame Twumasi during his 6th Form years in the 80s is a person whose exploits exemplify humility and determination to succeed.   He spent his post Sixth Form years apprenticing Uncle B, Marvin aka Sir Robot and Precious Jingles With Alhaji's DYNASTY in the late 80s.
